Financial Literacy Education workshops teach the importance of good credit, budgeting and goal setting. Participants receive free credit reports and one-on-one credit counseling as the initial step to financial management. Individuals will develop skills needed to manage money on a day-to-day basis, while creating, debt reduction and saving plans.

Through our partnership with Bank on DC individuals that are unbanked
or receive limited-banking services due to prior banking issues, can gain
access to financial services and products.
Bank on DC is a collaborative effort between local governments, financial
institutions, and community organizations whose goals are to provide free
to low-cost banking services. Residents who open a banking account with
a Bank on DC bank or credit union receive customized products with the
following features:
- No minimum balance requirements
- No overdraft charges
- No monthly fees
- Second chance banking
